Sindhu Lokanath, known mononymously as Sindhu, is an Indian actress and model who predominantly appears in Kannada cinema. She holds an MSc in Biotechnology from Reva University, Bangalore—an unusual educational background for a film actress—and made her debut with a cameo in Parichaya (2009). Her breakthrough came with the 2011 film Lifeu Ishtene directed by Pawan Kumar. Sindhu is recognized for her performances in Drama (2012), Case No. 18/9 (2013), and Love in Mandya (2014). While she has worked in both mainstream and smaller projects, her versatility has made her a prominent figure in Kannada B‑grade circles.
