welcome aboard

Ships of Hagoth is a digital-first literary magazine featuring creative nonfiction and theoretical essays by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Where other LDS-centric publications often look inward at the LDS tradition, we seek literary works that look outward through the curious, charitable lens of faith.

This WebDL version preserves the original editing, runtime, and scene order as intended by DreamZone. No broadcast or DVD-specific alterations.

While detailed critical analysis for such parodies is rare, audience data provides a snapshot of its standing:

The project brought together several experienced performers known for their work in the parody sub-genre during the 2010s, focusing on high-energy performances and comedic timing: Role Archetype The unstoppable, heavily tattooed war veteran. The Sheriff The antagonistic, power-tripping town lawman. Colonel Trapman Joan's former commanding officer sent to de-escalate. The Sergeant High-ranking personnel handling tactical support. The Deputy The overconfident local officer who triggers the conflict. The Lieutenant The secondary tactical enforcer alongside the sheriff. Technical Execution and Production Design

The RamBone DreamZone crew showed no signs of slowing down, continuing to crank out hilarious parodies and absurd content for their adoring fans. As Max often said, "The dream zone is limitless, and so is our ridiculousness!"

A WEB-DL (Web Download) is a file losslessly ripped from a digital streaming platform or online video-on-demand (VOD) service. Unlike a "WEBRip," which re-encodes the video during recording, a WEB-DL extracts the exact data stream direct from the server. This yields superior quality comparable to a retail Blu-ray disc. A CALL FOR

SUB
MISS
IONS

We are hoping—for “one must needs hope”—for creative nonfiction, theoretical essays, and craft essays that seek radical new ways to explore and express theological ideas; that are, like Hagoth, “exceedingly curious.”

We favor creative nonfiction that can trace its lineage back to Michel de Montaigne. Whether narrative, analytical, or devotional, these essays lean ruminative, conversational, meandering, impressionistic, and are reluctant to wax didactic.

As for theoretical essays: we welcome work that playfully and charitably explores the wide world of arts & letters—especially works created from differing religious, non-religious, and even irreligious perspectives—through the peculiar lens of a Latter-day Saint.

We read and publish submissions as quickly as possible, and accept simultaneous submissions.
