The Transmitter sits directly adjacent to the media source (e.g., media player, PC, NVR, or matrix switcher). It ingests raw digital TMDS (Transition-Minimized Differential Signaling) data via the HDMI Input port. Rather than converting the signal into heavy TCP/IP network packets—which causes visible processing delays—the LKV371 maps the uncompressed signal directly into high-frequency physical layer lanes compatible with copper twisted-pair cables.
