F14 can be triggered by several conditions, including a defective pump pressure level switch (B1/13), a circulation pump that is not running, insufficient pump pressure due to foreign objects, a defective flow meter (B3/4) that measures water volume incorrectly, a defective circulation pump winding or motor, or a pump pressure level switch that has not opened contacts 11-12 and 21-22 after the water intake step. According to one Miele representative, this issue can sometimes occur when the dishwasher is used infrequently (less than once per week), and pouring approximately one litre of hot water into the base of the machine may temporarily resolve a stuck valve.
