The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau has launched criminal cases against social media users for sharing content deemed obscene and degrading to women, with complaints stating it "distorts public behaviour" and "instils fear among social media users". Even modifying a revered Telugu poet's work for obscene content has led to legal action.
