From his aristocratic bearing and distinctive walk to the way he delivered verses with a mix of melancholy and intellectual pride, Shah made the historical poet deeply human. He portrayed Ghalib’s human flaws—his gambling debts, his penchant for French wine, and his financial struggles—with an endearing vulnerability that made the character accessible to a modern audience. A Stellar Supporting Cast
The success of “Mirza Ghalib” proved that Indian audiences were eager for serious, literary content on television. It validated the biographical format and demonstrated the power of episodic storytelling to capture complex historical figures. The show also played a crucial role in reviving interest in Urdu poetry among younger generations, particularly in the era before the internet made such material widely available.
A recurring theme, capturing the emotional innocence and confusion of the poet.
From the precise way he wore his topi (hat) and angrakha to the subtle, melancholic tilt of his head while reciting a couplet, Shah brought an unparalleled authenticity to the character. He captured Ghalib’s complex duality: his immense pride in his aristocratic lineage ( Aib-e-Hunar ) juxtaposed with his financial desperation, and his sharp, self-deprecating humor used to mask deep emotional trauma, including the loss of all seven of his children in infancy. The supporting cast delivered equally stellar performances:
Playing Ghalib’s deeply religious and practical wife, Azmi provided the perfect domestic counterweight to Ghalib’s eccentric, bohemian spirit. Their complex relationship—marked by financial strain and the shared grief of losing seven children in infancy—forms the emotional core of his domestic life.

Hi Yasser,
That would be nice but unfortunately, this doesn’t work. The SCP server on Cisco IOS doesn’t support this. Only option is to use SCP from the CLI.

Hi Rene !
When we upgrade IOS of router what about configuration ? Is it still the same ?
I know my question not sound technically cuz I’m new to Networking, but please kindly reply my question.
Sovandara
Hi Sovandara,
You don’t have to worry about your configuration. The startup-configuration is saved in the NVRAM, the IOS image is on the flash memory.
Here is a lesson that explains it in detail:
