Some configurations show multiple languages, each on its own line, with most of them "commented out" by a semicolon ( ; ) at the start. A semicolon tells the game to ignore that line. Anti-malware software, including Microsoft Defender, treats rldorigin.dll and related Rldorigin.ini files as extremely suspicious. Because the DLL injects code into running processes and bypasses authentication security measures, its behavior mirrors that of malware. Many scanners immediately quarantine or delete the .dll file, rendering the .ini useless. The game will then crash, asking for Origin. If you choose to run such software, you must explicitly add the game folder to your antivirus whitelist.
