Scanned blueprints often come with dust, speckles, and distortion. Version 4.10 introduced an adaptive noise filter that cleans the raster image before conversion. You can remove holes, smooth jagged edges, and fill gaps—all without leaving the import window.

Engineers use the software to scan faded blueprint rolls, convert them to DXF, and then mill replacement parts. The noise reduction in 4.10 is particularly good at handling creased paper.
