Clean the air filter sponge every 20 hours of use (or more often in dusty conditions). Wash it with soap and water, dry it thoroughly, and apply a light coat of engine oil.
Ensure no electrical appliances are plugged into the generator sockets.
Let the generator run without any load for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the engine and alternator to cool down uniformly.
The capacitor or AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) may need replacement. Engine Stalls or Lacks Power
Slide the choke lever to the "CLOSED" or "CHOKE" position (required for a cold engine start).
